How to Become a Mentor Coach

To be a Mentor Coach for credentialing, you must hold a credential at or above the credential level your client seeks.

For example,

If you are a PCC, you may be a Mentor Coach for ACC and PCC candidates.

If you are an ACC, you may only deliver Mentor Coaching to ACC candidates.

*Please also note Associate Certified Coaches must complete at least one full cycle of their credential (with renewal) before being eligible to serve as a Mentor Coach for ACC credentialing or credential renewal

You must meet all the criteria:

  • Have you been an ICF credentialed coach for at least three years?

  • Do you hold a credential at or above the credential your clients seek?

  • Have you passed the Coach Knowledge Assessment (ICF Exam)

To apply to be a Mentor Coach:

Login to your UK ICF Account

Click My Coaching Profile from the top left drop-down arrow

Click Edit Profile and scroll to the bottom

Turn on the Become a Mentor toggle

You will be asked if you meet the criteria and use the toggles to confirm.

Once you have confirmed and ticked the confirmation box, you can submit your application.

You will be emailed if your application is accepted or denied.
